    I'm pursuing a B.S in Computer Science at UC Santa Cruz, where I'm passionate about using technology to solve real-world problems. I recently worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Medtronic, where I developed a simulation for an insulin-delivery algorithm. I hope to make a positive impact on the prominent global communities of engineers, while narrowing the gender gap in tech. Software Engineering Intern @ Medtronic June 2024 - Aug 2024

Utilized MATLAB to develop FDA-compliant simulation for Guardian Sensor 4 and Synergy CGMs, simulating runs of calibration patterns. Implemented YAML configuration file and Stateflow logic to optimize and improving accuracy of insulin-delivery algorithms. Interpreted data flow and signal logging within Simulink to create successful unit and functionality tests.

Artificial Intelligence Intern @ SECOMIND AI May 2023 - October 2023

Embedded 7500+ closed issues in React JS and stored it in a Pinecone Vector Database. Developed an interactive chatbot using Open AI's LLM and Twilio, which responds to user’s issues with relevant information on issue frequency, bug classification, and potential debugging solutions—streamlining the user's bug resolution process.

Co-advising five cohorts, totaling 300 students, in completing a self-paced summer program focused on web development, data science/AI, and cybersecurity.
